Below is a sampling of freehand sketches of design concepts for various aspects of Shadow while I was in process of designing and building him:

Rocker panels and more for custom 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 supercar
The above sketch is very near to the actual finished product. The exceptions are the twin antennas (never went that way), the roof top air conditioner (never did it), and the recessed driving lights in the air dam (ended up just letting them hang in front of the dam). I don't think I left a mouth-like hole in the top of the dam either. The rocker panels seen above were another item never added.

Ford shaker hood scoop, air dam, front fender flares for custom 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 supercar

Above is a sketch close to the final product, only here I'm toying with the idea of a Ford shaker hood scoop protruding through the hood, and the louvers are shown further back on the hood than they ended up being. Though I may have had a CB antenna on the trunk lid at one time, in the end I placed it in the middle of the roof as tests showed greater range there. The rear spoiler in the pic above appears to be the standard factory bump with no modification whatsoever.
