- The Dart pilot logs; [1981 through 1982] [this section still being written up] In something of a fierce rebellion against all that came before, I decide to take to the air again, only this time in a much smaller, faster, and more maneuverable self-built aircraft than Moonshadow.
These were my outright pirate and buccaneer days. Or mercenary, maybe. It's a darn good thing they didn't last long!
- Lost and found; Basically, while performing background research for my friend Steve who wants to build a ski resort in nearby mountains, I stumble across something in the wilderness which shouldn't be there, and Steve wants me to do further investigation. All this gets much more complicated when two other folks from my supercar past appear on the scene. It turns out they're just in time to join me as I inadvertently stir up a metaphorical hornet's nest in the middle of nowhere. So Lost and found had something of a rough start to it.
But just when you think you have the world all figured out-- and the outlook seems forbiddingly grim and depressing-- it surprises you with something like this. The best time of your life-- amidst the most unlikely of circumstances. Just about any red-blooded American male will surely love this one!
Several important players in this account had roles in my Shadowfast days (and will be recognized by readers from Too close for comfort and Heartbreaker).
(My thanks go out to my good friend Rafe Flanagan who did all the heavy lifting on this book; without him, I doubt it would ever have been written at all)
- Dream team; [1983 through 1988] [this section still being written up] I'm able to take my entrepreneurial ventures up a notch with my new dream girl partners and tools. But mixing business with pleasure truly turned my world upside down!
